About Us

My passion for Christmas lights started when I was about 12. My father and I would decorate our house every year and before long we were in competition with the neighbor across the street. Never wanting to be “out done” by the other, the displays became larger and more elaborate each year. One year, we cut down a pine tree and then using a post hole digger, we put it in the yard at the last moment so we had one more decorated tree.

This passion stayed with me for a long time. Life got in the way and I never really decorated my own house until about 8 years ago. In fact I began decorating the new house before I was finished building it. The electrical system in the house was designed around the display so that I would have 200amps for lights. I got my wife hooked on the decorating and it has grown each year.

In 2015 I put up the mega tree and on black Friday I purchased new lights for it. So down it came and back up it went in one day and it is now made up of 7800 LEDs.

My children are getting involved too. They love to put the decorations out in the yard. They have even begun to help construct the decorations for the upcoming year.
